Orderly book, 1782-1794.

Orderly book kept by Thomas Seward of the Third Continental Artillery Regiment (Crane's) from 5 Aug. - 25 Nov. 1782 at West Point and Albany, N.Y. Regimental orders issued by Col. John Crane concern duty lists, work on the barracks, and courts-martial. Also included are copies of general orders issued from Washington's headquarters at Newburgh, N.Y. and garrison orders. The volume also contains returns for Seward's company and some personal accounts from 1793-94.
